My Juicing Journey

Your Waste Removal Experts

If fruits and veg were a company, that would be their slogan. Why? Because of the fiber content.

When I was a kid, my favorite commercial was the “Scrubbing Bubbles”, I don’t know I just thought the little bubbles were cute. But I do remember their slogan, as they scrubbed away.  “We Work Hard So You Don’t Have To!”  Imagine, all of those little bubbles working so hard to keep your tub and shower clean.

Well fruits and veg are the same inside our bodies. The antioxidants and enzymes hemp to break down and remove toxins, dead cells, and other bad actors in our bodies. Additionally, the fiber content works to keep your digestive track clean.  It goes through all of the nooks and crannies in your gut and intestines and removes the debris so it can be eliminated.

If you are truly juicing, you will miss out ont he benefits of much of the fiber. That is why, for me, the jury is still out on which is better, juicing or blending/emulsifying. I have seen different reports and people with differing views. The juiced vegs are definitely easier to swallow, literally.

Each person that begins juicing has their own reasons so juicing or blending may be a better option for you. There are plenty of reasons to include fiber in your diet.  I had a contact today ask me what the best fruits and vegs for fiber were.

So here is the Colon Cleaning Hall of Fame

Highest Fiber Vegetables
Beans
Broccoli
Brussels sprouts
Cabbage
Carrot
Chick Peas/Garbanzo Beans
Eggplant

Highest Fiber Fruits

Dried Fruits — Figs, Raisins, Apricots, Dates, etc.
Guava

  1. Great post! I def. agree about the fiber part! I like to mix it up and do juicing as well as making green smoothies so I am getting the best of both worlds!!
